Assalamualaikum wbt.

     Hi guys. So for today's entry, I would like to share about one of my first semester in degree's experiences; Citra Gamelan Asas 1.

So I took this course because I was in love with the sounds of those instruments when they were all being knocked; at the same time, based on the notes of the songs. Playing bonang was seriously not as easy as what I thought. Alhamdulillah, I managed to learn this course until the end of our class. Last class? Em no, it was a simulation where all of the students in Citra Gamelan and Citra Angklung had to perform some songs that were given according to classes. Songs that were given to our class were Ayam Den Lopeh and Selanting. I was truly in mess the whole day (a day before also); had to submit assignments in the morning, rushed to Panggung Seni for rehearsal, not having breakfast and lunch. Too hectic! And I was not in a good mood for the rest of the day because our team were not doing any practices because tak cukup orang. Was so disappointed with myself actually. I wasn't able to perform well; I could do better during that time. Once my feet touched the floor after performing, I just burst into tears. 

     After all, I was too glad that it was over! Let bygones be bygones, inshaAllah I wouldn't do the same mistakes ever again. Told to myself that I won't be taking this course anymore in the future, but half of me still want to take part in Citra Gamelan Asas 2 for the next sem. Nak ke taknak? We'll see!
